How do I book a tour of the care home?

Once open, we will be pleased to arrange a tour of the care home by calling our office or sending an email to [email protected].

Are there any restrictions on visitors?

We encourage visitors to join us as frequently as they would like, and to participate in any of our structured activities, or simply enjoy quiet time with their loved ones.

How secure is the care home?

The care home is secure and monitored 24/7.

What services does the care home provide?

MRSC Services include:

  • Private bedroom and bathroom

  • 24-hour supervision and assistance

  • Dementia Care

  • Medication management or assistance

  • Personal care services such as Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

  • Chef on site to prepare and serve home-cooked meals according to special dietary needs

  • Exercise, health and wellness programs

  • Housekeeping and laundry services

  • Arranging for transportation

  • Coordination for outside services such as Doctors, Dentists, Occupational and Physical therapists and Hospice care

Do you offer Dementia Care?

We offer dementia care to those residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. The environment and setting in a MRSC is ideal for residents living with dementia because it offers a consistent, loving, home-like environment with little to no staff turnover. The interior of the home is specially designed to promote independence wherever possible without sacrificing safety. Because dementia changes all five senses and not just memory, special attention is given to furniture placement, lighting, temperature, placement of motion sensors, bathroom layouts, furniture and decoration colors, and types of furniture.

In addition, activities are specifically sought out that will promote a high quality of life for dementia patients and reduce the incidents of challenging behaviors. Dining also contributes to the comfort of dementia residents because it provides a social outlet and a reminder of the routines and habits that were once part of their daily life. The on-site chef service and specialized diets ensure that each resident is eating the calories they need and in meals that they enjoy.

What activities are available?

We provide a range of activities including music, art, and games.

What is the fee structure?

Unlike many other Assisted Living Facilities with complicated and ever-changing point systems determining monthly fees, MRSC residents pay a simple to understand, flat fee each month for all of our services.

Are there any additional charges?

Our flat fee is all-inclusive for the services that we provide. However, there may be additional charges for outside services such as physicians visits, physical or occupational therapy, Salon appointments, etc. that can be arranged with the providers directly.

What is the staff to resident ratio?

We maintain a caregiver to resident ratio of 1:8, and are staffed for 3 shifts each day, 7 days per week.

Additionally, we have two full-time Managers to provide oversight and backup to the caregivers 7 days per week.

We also have a full-time Chef.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in the care home.
